JASON HINES, PGA Head Golf Professional/ Instructor
A graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, Jason has worked at fine golf clubs and teaching facilities from New York to Colorado and Arizona to Arkansas. His election to the Professional Golfers' Association of America came in 1996. He is the successor to South Lakes' original PGA Head Golf Professional Paul Ridings, who oversaw "the Jewel of Jenks" from its beginnings in 1989 through May, 2011.
With an exceptional background in coaching and golf swing analysis, his students have competed at all levels of competition from club events to professional victories, and even the RE-MAX World Long Drive Finals in Mesquite, Nevada. Jason has also been a contributing golf writer forCelebrate ArkansasandVertical Arkansasmagazines, covering topics such as travel, wit, instruction and junior golf.
Developing well-rounded students has come from years of experience as a player, coach, caddy, and student of the game. Though well versed in the technological evolution of teaching and analysis techniques, he prefers to teach the game above the swing, from the ground up, and from the inside out. It is this commitment to fundamentals of the game that continues to produce players that outpace their peers in improvement, enjoyment, and dedication to the game of golf year after year.

Jarod is an experienced player on various levels. Jarod is a graduate of Cordell High School where he was named to the 2002 McDonald's All-State Golf Team. He then moved on to Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he was a Letterman in golf from 2002-2006 and received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Jarod is a registered PGA Apprentice as well as an experienced teacher. Jarod specializes in playing lessons. His teaching philosophy revolves not only around sound mechanics, but more so a player's ability to navigate the golf course by thinking his/her way from shot to shot to produce the lowest possible score. He draws from his numerous years of competing in tournament golf to teach others valuable lessons. He enjoys working with players of all skill levels who are looking to improve their game. BRENT WILCOXEN PGA Apprentice / Instructor / Jenks Boys High School Golf Coach
A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Brent has been an Assistant Professional at South Lakes for 10 years. He currently coaches the multiple State Championship Jenks Boys Golf Team.

SAGE SMITH, PGA Apprentice / Instructor
Sage holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Mt. St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland where he was on scholarship for golf. He has worked at Dorado Beach Resort in Puerto Rico and Whisper Rock Golf Club in Scottsdale Arizona. He was the Arizona AJGA 2007 Player of the year, three time recipient of the Mt. St. Mary's athlete of the week, and placed second in the East Coast Athletic Conference Tournament in 2010. While at Dorado Beach, Sage was the lead counselor for a three week junior golf camp for 200 junior golfers. He can be reached in the golf shop or by cell at (480)272.0192.
COREY CLARKIN, PGA Apprentice / Instructor Corey Clarkin joins the team of golf professionals at South Lakes from Wichita Falls Country Club in Wichita Falls, TX. Clarkin is an Irish American born in the U.K., and moved to TX with his family in 1991. His experience in the golf business started when he was 16 as a cart attendant, and has done every job inside and out of the golf facility since. Clarkin was the Medalist at the Players Ability Test, and turned professional at Wind Creek G.C. under the tutelage of LaFortune alumni Jeff Gutierrez. Having a diverse well-rounded experience in the golf business has developed his teaching style and ability to relate to all types/abilities of golfers. Clarkin has over 1000 hours teaching experience working with men, women, children, and individuals with disabilities. He is active with the Scottish Rite, helping disabled children learn how to enjoy the game of golf. Corey has developed several successful junior golf programs, helping golfers realize their dreams of playing college golf. Clarkin is a certified club fitter and is a member of Mizuno’s Professional Staff. As a student of the game, Corey is a PGA Apprentice working towards Class A Membership.
His lesson rates are $40 for a 30 minute lesson, $65 for an hour lesson or $125 for a series of 4 half hour lessons. Junior lessons (6-17) rates are $125 for a series of five 30 minute lessons. MAGGIE ROLLER, LPGA Teaching Professional
Maggie graduated from the University of Tulsa where she played on the 1988 NCAA Championship Golf Team. She was a TU letterman from 1985-1989. After graduation she played professionally in Europe and the U.S. before turning to teaching. Her teaching style has been greatly influenced by Tracey Phillips, Holley Hair, Hank Haney and David Ledbetter. She studied under Tracey and Holley for several years and now teaches part time with a strong clientelle base of 300 students. She is a full time mother of three, James, Jenni, and JohnMark.
